Jr. Rookieball Provincial Champs!

It was a challenging start for the 2016 COBA Playoff Champions MSBA Twins. First up were the strong Lasalle Titans, where the Twins overcame a 12 run deficit to get their first win 17-16 in the tournament in extra innings. The team continued to fight on day 2 where they not only beat but mercied Kitchener, Riverside and Burlington. Those wins gave the twins a bye into the semi finals where they faced Leaside. The team came together and beat them 13-7. That brought forth a strong final match up with rivals Oakville A's. It took seven innings but they handed the Twins their first loss 8-5. The battle continued onto day 4 where Oakville and the Twins had a sudden death match for the title of Ontario Provincial Champions. It was a strong defensive game by both teams but the Twins played like they did all year and came back from behind to win the Championship 8-3.

Kevin Challenger’s Minor Rookie Twins beat a tough Oakville team 8-4 capping off an undefeated COBA Championship weekend and bringing home the Gold.
